ARCHIVED TAMPA FILM REVIEW UPDATE CONTENT

Tampa Film Blog Updated 07/10/09 - C. A. Passinault has posted several updates on his Tampa Film Blog since the last update denoted here on Tampa Film Review. Today, Passinault adjusts the Tampa Film Blog, and adds another post. The Tampa Film Blog is the top, unbiased source of information on the Tampa indie film scene.

Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival 07/10/09 - More films have been added to the Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival, including an excellent Star Trek episode created by some indie filmmakers. More films are on the way, and the site is scheduled for a file code update next month. Our online film festival is doing very well, with a lot of people checking out indie films on it every day.

The Tampa Film Review 2009 Unauthorized Film Festival Review 07/10/09 - The Tampa Film Review has come to an end. The third exciting, and provocative, unauthorized review of The Tampa Film Review is currently being written by C. A. Passinault, and is expected to be published on Tampa Bay Film the week of July 13, 2009. This review will cover the end of the five year run of The Tampa Film Review, and Passinault hints that the score will be the highest for the one Tampa film festival event, because it was the best one. There will be criticism, of course, but not that much toward the organizers this time- This time, Passinault addresses the supporters who showed up and why they did not support The Tampa Film Review before. Not to be outdone, a fourth unauthorized review of The Tampa Film Review is in the works. This one will cover the entire five year run of The Tampa Film Review, will reference the other reviews, and will serve as both a review of The Tampa Film Review as a whole and will be a guide to what was The Tampa Film Review, preserving the history of this controversial, and flawed, monthly Tampa film festival series.

Tampa Film Festival 03/21/09 - The Tampa Film Showcase monthly film festival and professional networking event series web site was overhauled today, with new content, new ads, and updated information. It seems that Tampa film festival director C. A. Passinault has pushed the launch of the flagship Tampa film festival event series, again, and there is now a tentative debut date set of January 2011! Passinault has indicated that the Tampa Film Showcase monthly film festival and professional networking event series is finished and could debut as early as spring 2009 if he wanted to, but he is waiting on work to be completed on support infrastructure, the development of another Tampa film festival, and work on his Tampa indie films. We are assured that the Tampa Film Showcase monthly film festival and professional networking event series will be worth the wait, but we can't help but wonder what the Tampa film scene will look like in 2011, and if any of the current players will stay in business that long.

Tampa Film Blog Updated 03/20/09 - The Tampa Film Blog, by Tampa indie filmmaker and film industry expert C. A. Passinault, was last updated on 03/20/09. The Tampa Film Blog post touches on the upcoming Tampa indie film revolution, and it is a must-read!

Tampa filmmaker, actor, writer, and director Joe Davison, in our opinion, is the most overrated filmmaker in the history of Tampa indie film. For more on Joe Davison, please talk to anyone who he has worked with in the production of independent films, and don't just take our opinion regarding him. Thank you.
